(We advise against using the Mantis Mode by only using one tripod leg and leaving the other legs suspended regardless of how slim the hanging surface is. Please avoid using Mantis Mode on moving objects such as vehicles, boats, etc.)

In which condition does the Mantis mode work?
The Mantis mode works safely when three legs are with stable support.
The ideal conditions are:
1.The thickness of the hanging surface should be equal to or less than 90mm

2. The Mantis mode can become a stable tripod by keeping the main leg hanging steady, and the two legs are with stable support.
3. Please avoid using the Mantis mode on moving objects such as vehicles, boats, etc.
Does the MantisPod have an anti-shake function?
The MantisPod can offer stable support for devices. It does not function as an anti-shake.
Is the bottom of the MantisPod anti-slip?
The ends of the three legs are made of anti-slip material, which prevents shaking when unfolding to tripod mode.
What is the interface on the top of the MantisPod? Is it the cold shoe?
The interface on the top is the dovetail cold shoe designed by PGYTECH, allowing you to assemble or disassemble the base plate and the SnapLock mini reverse ball head instantly. The structure of dovetail cold shoe is differ from the normal cold shoe, they are not matching.
What is the maximum height when the MantisPod unfolded?
MantisPod has two gears to switch the height, allowing you to switch from high to low angle shoot.
